Welcome! I’m Laurali. You might know me as the green hearth witch. I live in a tiny, seaside fishing village in Florida where I’m surrounded by my plant spirits. I love the color green, woodland decor, reading magical realism books, and studying herbalism.
Florida is a magical place to live. It’s the place I call my home. My green hearthcraft practice is inspired by the local land spirits, my house spirits, and the plants I keep around my home!
I live a quiet life where I practice slow-living magic regularly. This means that I weave magic into my daily chores and rituals. Everything becomes a spell when you do it with intention!
I’ve been practicing green hearthcraft for as long as I can remember. When I created the label, I decided it was a combination of green, hearth, hedge, and kitchen magic!
Through the years, I’ve developed some great relationships with the fairies, plant spirits, and the local land spirits where I live. Even when I travel, I like to introduce myself to the local genius loci.
I feel a deep, heartfelt connection to Mother Nature. I feel like it’s at the heart of everything I do, especially working with plants, tree spirits, and mushrooms. I even keep a few curiosities in my home, such as preserved butterflies, thorns, bones, skulls, and magical roots.

Meet the Teacher…
Growing up, I was a shy, weirdo child who loved life science and writing poetry. I was the girl who wore dresses and caught frogs with the boys.
These days, I’m studying to become a professional herbalist. Most of what I’ve learned is self-taught. I taught myself how to make herbal tinctures, cleaning supplies, first aid kits, and tea blends. The list goes on!
I’ve always been a green witch at heart. With green hearthcraft, I get to take my botanical studies into the home. Everything, from tea witchcraft to working with house spirits, is part of my everyday, mundane life. I’m so glad you could join me! xo
